Built for joy, nostalgia, and the radical act of protecting our bedtimes, DanceHer brings together a community of women who love going out dancing as much as a good night’s sleep.

About the Founder
Venus Liles is a lawyer by day, with her own law practice (Liles Law) — helping female founders make their dreams come true by starting their own businesses. An entrepreneur at heart, Venus loves creating things, gathering people together, and dancing whenever possible.
“I created DanceHer because I realized we women are quietly asked to give up the things that make us feel most like ourselves. For way too long, we’ve traded dance floors for responsibilities and pure joy for productivity. But the desire to really let go and feel something real has never gone away.
We deserve a space to feel alive again.
We don’t need to do this in spite of the life we've built. We can do it right smack in the middle of it. I wholeheartedly believe that we shouldn’t have to choose between fun and functioning.
DanceHer gives us a space to drop it like it’s hot, laugh loudly, sweat a little, and remember what it feels like to be fully, unapologetically present in our own bodies.”
